Aubío Life Sciences skincare products are based on technology found on an ancient carnivorous plant.

Aubío Life Sciences, a skincare company co-founded by John Paul Mitchell Systems’ John Paul DeJoria (who is the company’s major investor), has launched at Target stores nationwide. Aubío’s President Scott Woolley stated “John Paul DeJoria and I have always appreciated what a great retailer Target is and also felt that Target consumer would be the perfect group to launch with.” Aubío Life Sciences, which is based in Boca Raton, Florida, says it created its trademarked and patented “Ultra-Effective SuperBotanicals” plant complex is from an ancient carnivorous plant first studied by Charles Darwin. The plant’s unique botanical survival attributes have been “tapped, extracted from the plant, filtered, and characterized,” the brand says. Why base a skincare company on an an ancient carnivorous plant? It eats the world’s most deadly organisms to survive, while devouring all types of virus, infection and disease. A Breakthrough Treatment for Cold Sores The brand’s flagship products are the first to launch at Target – Aubío Cold Sore Treatment Gel and Aubío Hydrating Lip Therapy. The Cold Sore Treatment Gel, shown above, is formulated with the brand’s ‘SuperBotanicals’ plant complex, which facilitates delivery of key ingredients into the skin to relieve symptoms. DeJoria says, “I’ve developed this company to make a tremendous difference in people’s lives and spending millions on research, development, tests and clinical studies, and I knew personally that what we’re seeing is unbelievable results with the science behind Aubío.” There are 3.7 billion consumers worldwide (including 170+ million Americans) that suffer with all forms cold sores that are often painful and recurring. The company plans to continue to develop skincare products that provide beneficial effects for a large number of chronic skin conditions.
